Why do u think my sister is so mean to her boy friend?

She is testing him out on how much of this he will take. She is feeling insecure in the relationship so every time she behaves in this way and he takes it it proves to her that he really loves her.Deep down she is afraid that he will dump her which he will if she keeps this up.
