Whats up with me knee?

I don't know what i did, but my knee has been hurting on and off for a while. It started hurting more when the softball season started. Sometimes there's this big pressure in my knee and it feels like it would explode and then 5 mins. later its back to normal. sometimes my knee will just randomly give out on me too. I don't want to go see a doctor either.
